BENEFITS

ACUVISION LEARNING SENSOR SYSTEM

Motion/Presence Sensor
with Threshold Detection

Swing, Sliding or Folding Doors

1. When used as a presence sensor on a sliding door, it scans backward into the threshold to detect objects on the far side of the opening between the leading edge of the panels until the door is closed.

2. When used as an activation sensor on a swing door, the infrared learning technology memorizes the door activation cycle and differentiates between the moving door and other present objects.

3. Dual voltage capability

1. Continuous presence throughout the opening and closing cycle of Sliding Doors

2. Provides reactivation prevention for Sliding Doors

3. Versatile sensor for all door applictions

4. Superior coverage around door

5. Interfaces with GyroTech equipment and the equipment of other manufacturers

ACUMOTION A ADVANCED HYBRID SENSOR SYSTEM

Microwave/Infrared
Sensor

Swing, Sliding or Folding Doors

Perfect for longer range detection and fast traffic conditions

Not for use as a presence sensor on Swing or Folding Doors

1. Unique combination of microwave and infrared technology

2. Deeper detection area

3. Bi-directional setting

4. Unidirectional setting

5. Separate microwave and infrared area adjustments

6. 4-mode mutual interference prevention function

7. Separate outputs for infrared and microwave

8. Programmable settings for depth of coverage, width of coverage, sensitivity and memory

9. Dual voltage capability

1. Single hybrid sensor

2. Accommodates varying speeds of pedestrian traffic

3. Can be set to ignore pedestrians or objects moving away from the door

4. Unidirectional feature ignores departing traffic allowing the door to close 50% sooner for energy savings

5. Adjustments for installation on non-vertical surfaces

6. Sensors can be mounted closely to each other without sensor interference

7. Allows optimization of door performance

8. Interfaces with GyroTech equipment and the equipment of other manufacturers

ACUWAVE

"Touchless" slide door sensor

Sliding Door Systems

Not for use within the swing or fold patterns of a swing or fold door

1. "Touchless" sensor requires a voluntary hand motion to activate

2. Small 6" diameter detection area in stand-by mode

3.Large presence detection after activation

4. Rectangular sensing pattern

5. Works with non-microprocessor controls

6. 4-mode mutual interference prevention function

7. Dual voltage capability

1. Improves hygiene in hands-free environments like operating rooms, restrooms and clean rooms

2. Eliminates unnecessary activation expecially in high traffice areas

3. Reverse door closing action if another pedistrian approaches

4. Provides continuous presence sensing throughout the door cycle

5. Superior coverage around door

6. Can be used with older existing equipment

7. Interfaces with GyroTech equipment and the equipment of other manufacturers

ACUGARD COMPLETE SWING DOOR SENSING SYSTEM

Swing Door Presence
Sensing System

Door-Mounted Swing Door Sensing System

Perfect solution for grocery stores and hospitals

Not for use on Sliding or Folding Doors

1. When used with the NABCO U series microprocessor control, the swing-side door-mounted sensors automatically adjust for walls or guide rails as the door opens

2. Door mounted sensor

3. Compatible with all manufacturer’s controls

4. Adjustable pattern depth

5. Dual voltage capability

6. 4-mode mutual interference prevention function

7. System includes two Acugard 3 sensors and an Acumotion A for activation

1. Continual presence sensing throughout the door cycle

2. Out of reach of shopping carts or hospital beds

3. Conserves energy

4. Helps bring existing or new swing door installations up to the new ANSI standard

5. Optimizes door performance

6. Interfaces with GyroTech equipment and the equipment of other manufacturers

7. Most complete advanced sensing system for swing doors

ACUGARD 3 LE LOW ENERGY ADA

Low-Energy/ADA
Swing Door
Sensor

Perfect solution for low-energy/ADA applications

Not for use on Sliding or Folding Doors

1. Door mounted sensor

2. Functions on all older manufactuers non-microprocessor-based controls

3. Dual voltage capacity

4. Enhances the performance of low-energy/ADA doors

1. Out of reach of shopping carts or hospital beds

2. Interfaces with equipment of most other manufacturers

3. Added pedestrian protection for low-energy/ADA doors

ACUSENSOR 1B VERSATILE SENSOR

Sensor System

Swing, Sliding or
Folding Door Systems

1. Grid-like rectangular pattern

2. Variable Learn Time from 0 seconds (strictly motion) to Infinity (strictly presence)

3. Multiple width and depth adjustments

4. Also compatible with older non-processor based controls

5. Adjustable pattern depth

6. Dual voltage capability

7. 4-mode mutual interference prevention function

1. Superior detection across front of door

2. More versatile – can be used as motion only or presence only sensor

3. Detection pattern adjustable to meet specific applications

4. Allows upgrades to existing systems

5. Optimizes door performance

6. Interfaces with GyroTech equipment and the equipment of other manufacturers
